Pretium Packaging (pretiumpkg.com) has acquired Cox Container LLC, located in Troy, Ala. Cox specializes in extrusion blow molding of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) containers for food, beverage, dairy and industrial applications.

The acquisition increases Pretium’s U.S. manufacturing locations to 17. The Cox facility is situated on 13 acres, which makes it ideal for future manufacturing expansion.

Cox Container represents the fifth acquisition Pretium has made in the past four years.
