EUROPE De Kuyper chose a transparent version of its so-called “square bottle” for a limited edition premium golden Jenever, a juniper-flavored traditional liquor of the Netherlands and Belgium.
Though its roots date back to the 17th century, 2011 marks the 100-year anniversary of De Kuyper’s move from Rotterdam to Schiedam, the Dutch city famous for its Jenever liquor. To celebrate, the brand chose a transparent version of its so-called “square bottle” for a limited edition premium golden Jenever, a juniper-flavored traditional liquor of the Netherlands and Belgium. A heart-shaped dark blue label with a platinum gold frame is a tribute to historical labels and is placed across the front and side of the bottle. A limited edition of 6000 bottles was produced, and each is individually numbered on the closing seal.
