Freeze-dried fruit snacks company Crunchies recently unveiled a top-to-bottom branding refresh. Acquired by global food ingredient company Chaucer Foods in 2014, the brand’s end-of-2015 redesign is grounded in an extensive market research study and features a new logo, product package, website and marketing campaign to extol the virtues of freeze-drying. Freeze-dried in the U.S. and Europe, with fruits sourced from around the world, all Crunchies products share the company’s hallmark of traceability. The resealable pouches and single-serve bags display photographs of the freeze-dried fruit instead of the fruit fresh, in a move to add the transparency the brand finds to be lacking in the category.
