Forty-eight percent of U.S. households now have access to carton recycling

Two thousand thirteen marked a year of significant expansion of carton recycling. Thanks to collaborative industry efforts and support from communities nationwide, 48% of U.S. households now have access to carton recycling.
The new RPA-100% certification program uses third-party audits to substantiate the manufacturing practices of participating companies to verify that paperboard marketed as 100 percent recycled contains only recovered fiber.
