Carmen Becker, president and CEO of Tetra Pak, U.S. and Canada, brings more than 16 years of international leadership to her role overseeing operations throughout North America. Under her leadership as chief operating officer of Tetra Pak’s carton gable top business unit in Europe and Central Asia, the company launched its first gable top carton made of 100 percent renewable materials globally – a significant milestone towards the company’s environmental goals. She also led the development and implementation of a new channel and geographic expansion strategy, ultimately doubling profitability and increasing net revenue in just 18 months.
Becker began her Tetra Pak career as director of finance in 1999. Prior to that, she held stints with General Motors, Rain Bird, and the Timken Company, where she began her business career as a process metallurgist.
