Three years on from elevating and reinventing the Islands8 brand world, bluemarlin is raising a glass to a design built with the future in mind – one that was always intended to flex, evolve and welcome new expressions.
In the new design, they’ve cleverly utilized the checkerboard aesthetic to create a split-screen feel—on one side is a bowl of Rice Chex with milk and strawberries, on the other a bowl of Chex-heavy snack mix.
STONE’s strategy focused on maximizing the opportunity to make GoNanas truly memorable, signaling something new and modern in the baking category, and creating greater impact in stores.
Equipped with modern tools and advanced AI-supported design and simulation technologies, the studio will enhance the way workshops, design sprints and co-creation sessions are carried out more effectively, especially in projects where sustainability targets, performance requirements or regulatory changes drive the need for new solutions.
Participants ranged from undergraduate to master’s level students, representing disciplines such as Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Food Science, Engineering, and Global Business Studies.
Jeanie Morris, the INX marketing and promotions manager responsible for organizing this event, says the contest represents a chance for those in the industry to showcase outstanding artistry and join a distinguished group of brand owners, designers and metal decorators who have been recognized in the past.
Sustainable Design entries rose nearly 10% year-on-year, with sustainability being incorporated across virtually every category—from beauty and beverages to student-led work and professional concepts.
