If chocoholism is a disease, an Austrian candy company has the cure-or at least, a unique novelty package. ChocoShots from Zotter GmbH, Bergl, Austria, have 100-gram single servings of liquid chocolate in a plastic “syringe” with working plunger that allows consumers to squirt the product into the mouth (or onto ice cream or another target). The plungers come in paperboard cartons that bear the Fairtrade seal, indicating they are made from “ethically sourced” cocoa beans. They retail for 2.50 euros (about $3.39) and come in two flavors: Mandarinox (mandarin orange) and Whiskeynol (whiskey).
