A new bag design allows wine and other liquids to be filled into flexible packaging without a box. The 3-liter Club de Sommeliers merlot from Les Chais Beaucairois, a unit of France’s Marie Brizard Co., comes in a flexible pouch supplied byCLP Packaging Solutions. The formed pouch won a silver award in packaging excellence in the recent annual awards from the Flexible Packaging Association.
