Kraft Foods has rolled out a new “grownup” version of its iconic macaroni and cheese. The new Homestyle Deluxe version comes in a standup pouch, with internal pouches for viscous cheese sauce, breadcrumbs and seasoning. The outer pouch has the familiar blue of Kraft’s standard mac & cheese, but the graphics depict the product being served from the kind of baking dish that would be used for a homemade version. Kraft CEO Irene Rosenfeld told the Chicago Tribune that the goal was “to bring in the adult user.”
