Redesign increases product value as a keepsake this holiday season.

Utah-based Mrs. Fields Chocolates partnered with design consultancyIdeas that Kick(www.ideasthatkick.com) to dial-up the value of their assorted chocolate candy tins for the 2011 holiday season.

Kick created tin designs with keepsake value. The agency picked finishes and production techniques that gave Mrs. Fields’ 2011 holiday tins a classic, timeless quality - so it really would feel as nice to give as it would to receive these value-priced candies.  The tins are printed in two colors including a silver matte finish treatment inside and out (rather than brassy finish on one side) for an increased perception of value that is also reflected in having the tin edges rolled under on the base and lid.

“People always talk about gifts that keep on giving,” says Kick executive creative director Stefan Hartung. “Our tin designs for Mrs. Fields do that - for as little as five dollars. Elegant graphics and simple details like how our tin lids’ edges rolled delivered more to consumers, so consumers can deliver more to the people on their gift lists.”

The Mrs. Fields holiday tins are available in Target, Walmart and Walgreens stores nationwide and retail for $4.99 to $9.99.
