SchurStar Packaging Systems appoints North American general manager

Howard to vice president and general manager of its SchurStar® packaging business operation in North America.
Operating from Schur Packaging’s North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, Kevin and his team will be responsible for driving growth strategies for the SchurStar bagging system in the region. “The SchurStar bagging system enables our customers to package a wide variety of products using Schur’s pre-made bags and SchurStar packaging machine,” Howard remarks, and adds “This system has been very successful with European customers for 30 years, I am very excited to be a part of introducing these products to the North American market.”
The SchurStar machine and packaging are designed to work in combination to deliver as much as 50 filled and sealed bags per minute with simple operation and five minute changeovers.
