He succeeds Gérard Stricher, who is retiring after working alongside Tiismann for more than two years. Tiismann was previously the company’s executive vice president in charge of industrial operations and product research and development.
Spartech Corp. (www.spartech.com), a producer of plastics materials and packaging, has appointed Myles Odaniell president and chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. Odaniell succeeds Randy Martin, interim chief executive officer, who will return to his duties as chief financial officer. The company also elected Ralph Andy, a director of the company for the past nine years, as chairman of the board.
