Pro Mach’s ID Technology division acquires Winco ID

New Hampshire-based Winco ID provides regional base to enhance service and support for Northeast customers

August 21, 2013

Pro Mach, Inc. (www.ProMachInc.com) announces that its ID Technology division has acquired New Hampshire-based Winco ID, a leading manufacturer and provider of label, barcode, and identification solutions. ID Technology, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is one of North America's largest single-source providers of labeling, coding, and marking equipment, services, labels, and related supplies.

With the addition of Winco ID and Toronto-based Colet, announced last month, ID Technology continues to strengthen its capability to deliver quick, comprehensive customer support throughout North America. In addition to its machinery manufacturing operations, ID Technology now has 6 label converting facilities, 18 regional offices, and numerous satellite locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. ID Technology celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. For 11 consecutive years, it has been the largest label printer applicator manufacturer in North America, with its Model 250 label applicator being the best selling system in North America. ID Technology’s steady growth solidifies its position as North America’s leading manufacturer and integrator of identification and tracking equipment, peripherals, and related products.

Founded in 1980, Winco ID has earned a strong reputation for manufacturing durable labels that stand up to harsh conditions and meet rigid military compliance standards. Winco ID provides specialty labels and pre-printed bar code, RFID, and data labels for a wide-range of industries, including manufacturing, food and beverage, electronics, health care, education, and military. Winco ID has an outstanding record of customer satisfaction and delivering high quality service and equipment.

"The Winco ID team is an excellent addition to ID Technology and Pro Mach," says Bob Zuilhof, president of Pro Mach's Identification and Tracking Business Unit. "Winco ID strengthens our ability to respond quickly and cost-effectively to existing Northeast customers and will allow us to introduce the full range of ID Technology products and services to new customers who want to identify, brand, mark, track, and ship their products. Their like-minded approach to customer service excellence fits well with our goal to be North America’s most trusted specialist for labeling, coding, and marking solutions.”

"I’m excited for our customers and team," says Winco ID president Stan Kosidlo. "ID Technology and Pro Mach have a strong tradition of leadership, growth, and customer service in the labeling and packaging industries. We look forward to working together to deliver innovative, high value solutions for our customers.”
