PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, the owner and producer of PACK EXPO International 2014 (Nov. 2-5; McCormick Place, Chicago), announces the Center for Trends & Technology (CTT): Improving Production through Innovation will make its second appearance at PACK EXPO, sponsored again by Rockwell Automation and its PartnerNetwork™ program. The exhibit first appeared at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013.

“Rockwell Automation is an important innovator,” says Charles D. Yuska, president & CEO, PMMI. “Their exhibit last year brought these ideas and technologies to life, as I’m sure they will again in Chicago.”

Located in the South Hall (Booth 3097), the exhibit will be more than twice the size of last year’s and will offer attendees a variety of educational opportunities. Cutting-edge learning sessions and dynamic displays will showcase trends, remote solutions, line integration technologies, cloud computing, track-and-trace technologies, and manufacturing convergence. Staff on site will point visitors to suppliers who can help make their resulting new ideas come to life.

“We’re excited to return to PACK EXPO this year,” says Mike Wagner, global segment business manager, Rockwell Automation. “Visitors to CTT will be able to explore new technologies that allow them to decrease their time to market, facilitate regulatory compliance and ultimately strengthen their brand equity, and that’s huge.”

Kiosks and live, 30-minute presentations will illustrate the following topics:

  • Machine Safety
  • Food Safety
  • Serialization
  • Secure Remote Support
  • Connected Enterprise
  • Security
  • Line Optimization / Performance
  • Interactive Wall - "Baking Line" Animation

It’s a win-win for all of our PACK EXPO and Pharma EXPO attendees, as well as Rockwell Automation and its PartnerNetwork program.”
