Antares Vision (antaresvision.com) celebrates its 10-year anniversary October 18 with a series of presentations, live equipment demonstrations and networking opportunities. The day-long event took place at Antares Vision’s Moorestown, NJ U.S. headquarters, which features a dedicated showroom and demonstration space.

“We are honored to host our valued partners for multi-vendor demonstrations and wide-ranging industry discussions,” Andrew Pietrangelo, president, Antares Vision - North America, says. “In particular, the gathering will be a forum to address the potential for improved serialization systems stemming from the DSCSA enforcement postponement. The extra time provides the opportunity for companies to select solutions customized to their business needs rather than sprint to baseline compliance.”

The event’s feature presentation will revolve around maximizing start-to-finish process efficiencies in serialization – including printing, code reading, labeling and software-based data management. The presentation will combine partner insight regarding barcode grading strategies and best practices for labeling application with Antares Vision’s seamless serialization software.

Other highlights on the day’s agenda include:

  • A case study outlining its serialization solution for the largest CMO network in the United States
  • A discussion on the latest quality control trends in capsule filling
  • An overview of the latest regulatory updates
  • A discussion on the long-term maintenance and upgrade-ability in light of ever-evolving regulations
  • A look at the serialization landscape from the perspective of pharmaceutical wholesalers

The October 18 event also let visitors see the “real life” version of Antares Vision’s ambitious display at Pack Expo Las Vegas, where it showcased a completely serialized warehouse and distribution center environment, including re-aggregation and shipping. A nod to the upcoming 2023 U.S. mandate for track & trace throughout the pharma supply chain, the set-up was based on a similar arrangement currently in place at the Moorestown headquarters that Antares Vision has occupied since February. The facility has increased the company’s warehousing space fourfold, and includes a spacious testing facility capable of conducting multiple factory acceptance tests (FATs) simultaneously.
