Colalife.org is a grassroots campaign to get Coca-Cola to open its package distribution in developing countries to help deliver hygiene and educational products to hard-to-reach populations. The idea is to piggyback on the company’s excellent distribution channels and dedicate a set amount of space in its crates to house the aid materials. To further its cause, Colalife has even developed a wedge-shaped pod designed to fit in the unused space between the necks of bottles. How’s that for open innovation? [via PFSK]
