Grolsch Premium Lager


 Grolsch needed a new bottle in line with the brand’s character, so branding and packaging design consultancy CARTILS developed a package that aims to be the most accessible variant of the range, in both price and design. Grolsch is especially known for its iconic Swingtop bottle, which drives the brand image at market. To ensure range alignment, the new bottle was inspired by the Swingtop’s shape, and the redesign is now seen as its brother. The bold neck and active shoulders seek to communicate the robust character, confidence and pride of Grolsch. The three embossed grip lines and scoop on the body link to the Swingtop and reinforce the tactile experience of holding the bottle.
