In July, Exceptional Specialty Products/Case Paper Co. won a coveted Benny award at The Printing Industries of America’s (PIA) 2016 Premier Print Award Competition, for its 2015 holiday promotional box.

The competition recognizes the best printed pieces submitted from around the world. A Benny (named after Benjamin Franklin) is given to the most outstanding entry in each category and Case Paper will receive a bronze statuette of America’s founding father and printer at the annual awards banquet in September. The entry won the Benny in the Cards category, as well as a certificate of merit in innovation.

In 2015, the package also won first place in the cards category and second place in the finishing techniques category, of Pacific Printing Industry’s Print Rocks Awards.

The holiday box was printed on Case Paper’s popular Sonata™ board and paper. Made by laminating 1/2 mil met pet holographic film to a smooth paperboard, Sonata™ comes in silver and rainbow colors and its outstanding printability--as well as its ability to be easily folded, diecut, and embossed--makes it perfect for use in luxury or media packaging, greeting cards, tags and inserts, or displays and signage.
