If there was one word that summed up the packaging industry in 2018, it would be disruption. The shift from retail to e-commerce, the innovation of IoT, the expanding cannabis market and the war on plastic are only a few examples.
But all of this change isn’t a bad thing. This disruption is what will continue to grow and push package designers and brand owners to evolve this year.
