At PACK  EXPO Las  Vegas  2011, Bosch  Packaging  Technology will introduce a new flat pouch packaging system, the Sigpack  RNGS  8 and KG3 cartoner. With new servo-driven flexibility, the system provides a seamless, integrated solution with a very small footprint. Less giveaway due to dosing accuracy combined with the high speed results in a highly efficient solution.

Also making its world debut at the show will be the Pack 301 IN Inverted Horizontal Wrapper. The machine is ideal for wrapping multi-packs, soft packages, vegetables and products that need to be carried on a conveyor instead of being pushed. Furthermore the Pack 301 IN allows users to shorten changeover time, reduce film waste and enhance package appearance while gently handling the product. The Pack 301 IN includes an integrated design to offer flexibility in conveying solutions to meet customer-specific product handling needs.

To provide customers with ease of ordering and optimized spare parts logistics, Bosch will launch its advanced E-Portal. This online platform contains customized as well as machine-specific spare parts data to ensure an efficient ordering process. Up-to-date information on availability and price can be accessed online at any time to enable reliable planning. It also provides a history of quotes and orders for transparent information and allows for rapid decision making.

For the first time in the U.S., Bosch will showcase the Sapal Starpac 600 HL. The machine allows single-wrap die-fold packages to now be produced with hermetic seals for higher quality chocolate products.
