Adhesive micro-dots produce no waste
Waste is a buzz word when discussing green initiatives and companies are trying more than ever to reduce this 5-letter word as much as possible. One adhesive company has mastered this with its MatrX line and now has added a smaller option. Glue Dots International (www.gluedots.com) has added the Small MatrX to its MatrX product line, a pattern of pressure-sensitive adhesive micro-dots. Small MatrX is engineered for applications that demand low profile adhesive solutions and is available in ¼ inch wide and ½ inch wide permanent adhesive patterns, with a thickness range of 3-5 mils.
Pressure-sensitive MatrX is a faster, easier, and a safer method of substrate-to-substrate bonding. It offers a clean alternative to transfer tape and bonds instantly. It is safer than hot melts, liquid glues, and provides clean cut-off with no residue or waste. The Small MatrX applies smoothly and delivers all the same properties of Large MatrX in a smaller footprint.
Using the refillable Dot Shot Pro (DSP) triggerless applicator, the rolls are easily interchangeable allowing the operator to switch from small MatrX to large MatrX in seconds. When used in conjunction, the DSP and MatrX are ideal for project-oriented environments like contract packaging facilities, sheltered workshops, print bindery, and fulfillment houses due to the lightweight design and ergonomic friendliness of the applicator.
