Vetroplas Packaging (vetroplas.com) has launched a new collection of real wood packaging accessories, adding extra variety for those looking to achieve a highly distinctive look, natural texture and sustainable feel.

The Norwich-based packaging company is one of a very limited number of suppliers able to offer this premium, eye-catching collection of caps, lids and over-shells, by working in collaboration with manufacturing partner, Eurovetrocap.

The complete range of accessories, all made from renewable sources, is created using a numerical control lathe to produce a variety of different rotation shapes. This enables accessories to be made for all different packaging options including pumps and droppers.

The collection is available in two different types of wood. The Beech option provides a lighter, more regular grain effect while the Ash products have a more impactful woodgrain appearance. As well as being available as natural Beech and Ash colours, both of these woods can be varnished to create four further colour options in each wood: white, cherry-wood, wenge and black. Further customised colours can also be created on request, offering the opportunity to create a totally bespoke option which will seamlessly enhance any existing branding.

Simon Dix, sales director at Vetroplas says, “We believe this collection will prove to be highly desirable. It is incredibly tactile and has a very natural, pure look. It will really complement and enhance many different types of products and brands. The accessories will work with either glass or plastic packaging and we can help to further enhance brand identity through a wide range of decoration techniques such as silk screen printing, hot foil stamping, metallisation and lacquering.”
