Melted in a glass tank, red glass unveils its coloration after the annealing, a complex manufacturing process requiring precision to match one of Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite colors: red.

The iconic N°5 red glass bottle has been manufactured at Verescence’s glass manufacturing site in Mers-les-Bains (France). For more than 30 years, red glass has been exclusively made by Verescence.
