GGRP Sound, a Vancouver music engineering company, sent out a promotional piece to potential clients this spring that got lots of play. The package is a corrugated sleeve that holds a 45rpm record and, once unfolded, doubles as the player. A peg embedded in one of the panels holds the record in place, which is spun using a pencil. The sound vibrations are transferred by a needle and then amplified through the corrugated board to play an original recording produced, no surprise, by GGRP.
