Schur Packaging Systems, Inc(www.schur.com/en/post-press-machinery) announces the launch of the Schur®Star 2040C flexible packaging system in North America.
The SchurStar bagging system allows companies to package a wide variety of products using Schur’s pre-made bags and SchurStar packaging machine. The two are designed to work in combination to deliver as much as 50 filled and sealed bags per minute with simple operation and limited operators.
According to Kevin Howard, vice president and general manager, “There is virtually no limit to the products you can package on this machine and changeovers take less than 10 minutes. This system enables small companies to have sophisticated packaging with a relatively low investment while providing large companies a cost effective way to test and launch into new markets.”
Operating from Schur Packaging’s North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, Howard and his team will be responsible for driving growth strategies for the SchurStar bagging system in the region. “This system has been very successful with European customers for 30 years; I am very excited to a part of introducing this technology to the North American market.”
This machine will be on display at PackExpo in Chicago, booth E-7062, October 28-31.
