Canadian grown and produced Martin's Crispy Apple Chips is excited to introduce a new flavor to its line of popular apple chips. Martin's Apple Chips with Chocolaty Drizzle is the first flavored chip for the Martin's brand.

"February is a great time to introduce this new flavor to our consumers," says Peter Katona, marketing manager for Martin's Apple Chips. "Not only is it a sweet chocolate treat just in time for Valentine's Day, it is in response to our dedicated chip fans requests for more flavors."

Similar to the original Crispy Apple Chips, the Chocolaty drizzled chips are produced from apples grown right from the Martin's Family Fruit Farm. Since 1971, Martin's Family Fruit Farm has placed an emphasis on care and quality when it comes to the apples they produce on their Ontario farms. These high standards influenced the creation and production process of Martin's Apple Chips, right down to dehydration methods, and slicing of the apples. The result is a snacking product that has the great taste of Canadian apples in a convenient on-the-go package.

Martin's Apple Chips with Chocolaty Drizzle will be available in a new 64-gram sharing size bag perfect for snacking with friends and entertaining. The original Martin's Apple Chips are still available in the 103-gram bag, for the family on the go, as well a 22-gram individual snack size pack. The apple chips are high in fiber, loaded with antioxidants, and gluten-free.

The Chocolaty Drizzle apple chip is the first of several upcoming new flavors the Martin's team is planning for 2014. Other flavors in development include cinnamon as well other savory and sweet additions. Consumers can look for the colorful packaging flavor line up on store shelves soon.

 Martin's Apple Chips are available at Costco and Real Canadian Super Store grocery store shelves as well as many independent grocers across Ontario.
