MYX answers call for larger wine packaging bottles

MYX releases larger wine bottle packaging

Just in time for the holidays, MYX Fusions is offering its award-winning wine beverages in a new size: classic 750ml bottles that promise to take the brand from laid-back beachside picnics and barbecues through the fall to holiday entertaining. Perfect for holiday parties, cocktailing and sharing with friends, the larger bottles will be offered in the three most popular flavors of MYX Fusions including Original Moscato, Peach Moscato and Classico Sangria. Already released in some markets, the brand expects the new format to be available nationally by March 2017.

Peter Reaske, CEO of MYX Beverage, L.L.C. sees the introduction of the new bottlings as the perfect way to cap off another great year.  “As the MYX brand has exploded in growth, we’ve seen an increasing demand for larger bottles from trade and consumers alike.  We’re delighted to answer those calls with 750mls of our most popular flavors.  The timing, shipping just before the big holiday season, couldn’t be better.”

The introduction tops off another year of exceptional growth for the brand: Its millionth case rolls off the line in September 2016. Growing from 55,000 cases in its first half-year of sales, MYX reached 310,000 cases in 2014 and 400,000 case in 2015. 

The fast-growing Moscato first expanded across the U.S., now available in 48 states as well as Canada.  MYX was recognized as a top growth brand with awards in 2014 and 2015 by the Beverage Information Group. Most recently the brand was ranked the second most popular celebrity wine brand on www.vivino.com, tied with Francis Ford Coppola’s Director’s Cut. Also, it places among the top 24% of all wine brands on the popular, international site that claims more than 19 million followers.

Nicki Minaj, international pop superstar, spokesperson and co-owner of the brand, says of the introduction, "I’m so excited about the amazing new bottles of my bubbly MYX Moscato, Peach Moscato and Classico Sangria.  They’re our fans’ favorite flavors."

The smaller bottles are great for picnics or barbecues, on the beach or any single serve occasion, but I can definitely see myself serving the 750 ml bottles at a holiday party. MYX flavors in a bigger bottle make it way easier to serve a lot of people – or just to share with someone special over dinner."

The MYX brand continues to grow and thrive in the important millennial market because it answers consumer demand for delicious, all-occasion wine beverages. Consumer research shows that millennials are unabashedly mixing their wine (64% mix wine and fruit juice) and are more than twice as likely to buy sweet and bubbly Moscato than any of the other popular varietals.

For Moscato and Sangria fans, the new 750 ml bottles of MYX Moscato, Peach Moscato and Classico Sangria will delight at dinner and cocktail parties.
