Glass Packaging Institute Announces Clear Choice Award Winners
The Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) announces the winners of its 2018 Clear Choice Awards, recognizing North America’s top brands and manufacturers creating exceptional designs that shape powerful consumer experiences. Winners were named in seven categories, including “newcomer to glass” and a new “sustainability” category. The award-winning packaging designs were recognized during a ceremony at the national Packaging That Sells Conference in Chicago, October 8-10.
The winning glass containers were selected by an independent panel of food and beverage packaging professionals.
The winners are:
Beer, Cider and Flavored Alcoholic Beverage: 500ml Sour, Wicked Weed Brewing, manufactured by Ardagh Group
Wine & Spirits: Wild Turkey Longbranch, Gruppo Compari, manufactured by O-I. Wild Turkey Longbranch also achieved the highest marks from the judges to capture the Overall Score Award
Non-Alcoholic Beverage: Coca-Cola Origins, Coca-Cola North America, manufactured by O-I Mexico
Food: TABASCO brand Diamond Reserve Pepper Sauce, McIlhenny Company, manufactured by Ardagh Group
Cosmetics, Fragrances & Other: DKNY Nectar Love 50 ml, Estée Lauder Companies, manufactured by Vitro
Newcomer to Glass Packaging (Including Reversions): Caffé Monster, Monster Energy Company, manufactured by Ardagh Group
Sustainability: BottleDrop Refillable Bottle, Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative, manufactured by O-I
