Since launching in April 2015, the original Pickers product had been in a stock bottle with a plastic closure and label that prominently features a guitar head and the Pickers logo. Pennington Distilling Co. wanted to rebrand its popular product and create an entirely new bottle that would attract attention on store shelves, all without disrupting manufacturing production.

The company tasked Berlin Packaging (berlinpackaging.com) and the Studio One Eleven design team to create a new bottle that differentiates from other premium brands and serves as a tribute to Nashville and the musicians whose sounds fill the air. The design team married the clear connections of the brand with its music city roots. To bring this to life, a clear glass bottle was developed prominently featuring an embossed guitar pick bearing the iconic three stars of Tennessee’s state flag near the bottle’s neck. Two sides of the bottle are embossed with the neck of a guitar, giving Pickers a unique look from nearly every angle.

To streamline the design and approval process, the Studio One Eleven team created a 3D model of the design concept, working closely with sourcing and manufacturing partners to ensure success. The design team also worked with Berlin Packaging’s Bruni Glass division to create the custom mold.

Pickers Vodka is available in 1 L and 750 mL bottles.
