TricorBraun WinePak has provided wine bottles with 3D labels for Okanagan Villa Estate Winery’s Vibrant Vine wine. The bottles won a bronze award in the 2014 World Beverage Competition’s packaging division. Glasses are fastened to the display coolers’ glass doors so shoppers can see the labels transform to their 3D appearance. By happenstance a handful of the labels, all of which are put on manually, were applied upside-down to the bottles containing the winery’s most popular blend. The inverted labels appealed to the winery’s owner, who named the blend OOPS! The 750ml tall hock bottles are antique green with flat bottom finishes and use Stelvin closures. The labels are designed by Phil Lewis, a Colo.-based commercial artist.
