When 95% of consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies surveyed by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, say they are struggling to hire skilled operators and technicians, it confirms they are facing a major challenge.
The event this year will feature 2,300 exhibitors, over 1 million net square feet, and is expected to attract 35,000 attendees from more than 40 vertical markets.

These findings highlight a surge in investment and innovation — insights that will come to life this fall at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, the premier packaging and processing trade show produced by PMMI, taking place Sept. 29–Oct. 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The partnership between Dow, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI), event venue McCormick Place and waste management provider Independent Recycling Services achieved notable strides in waste diversion and resource conservation on site.
Fueled by an increase in demand and a proliferation of new products and packaging variations, 88% of the snack food makers surveyed by PMMI said they intend to acquire new machinery between now and 2027.
