The 20W i-Series Fiber Laser Marker, used to mark expiration dates on Bumble Bee canned tuna, runs at speeds from 15 to 35 inches per second, depending on the type of font being used. The same laser can mark clearly on different colored packaging for flexibility in the production process and to increase throughput. The compact, service-free fiber laser operates under high shock, vibration and dust conditions (with relatively high humidity and temperatures), with trouble-free air cooling and a low-voltage power source. Fiber-to-fiber architecture means a robust, monolithic design with no optics to align or maintain and no mechanics to stabilize.
