Nathan's Famous enhances retail packaging

World's most 'famous' frank unveils new look.

Nathan's Famous® is now making it easier for health-conscious consumers to enjoy the great taste of its original frankfurters by introducing a new 50% reduced-fat variety. The company unveiled the new product today along with a first look at updated packaging featuring bold, high-impact graphics and easy to read product labeling.

With half the fat of traditional Beef Franks, this new product delivers full flavor in each bite. The bun-length, skinless beef franks are made with lean beef and Nathan's original seasonings, providing a healthier option for everyone to enjoy without sacrificing taste. Like all Nathan's Famous products, the new offering is also gluten free and contains no artificial flavors, colors or by-products. 

"It's important for us to always find new ways to please those who enjoy Nathan's," says Wayne Norbitz, president of Nathan's Famous, Inc. "Our 50-percent, Reduced Fat Beef Franks variety is a great solution for those looking for a healthier option, but still craving the taste they have come to expect from Nathan's Famous."

The signature yellow and green awning surrounding the brand logo makes it easy for consumers to find their famous frankfurter. An iconic Nathan's Famous marque will also be prominently featured on the new package design, serving as a reminder that it is "The Original" Nathan's Famous from Coney Island, NY since 1916.

"We really wanted to bring the packaging to life and highlight the brands authenticity," adds Norbitz. "This will also make it easy for new and existing consumers who love Nathan's Famous to easily pick it out in the grocery aisle and enjoy Nathan's Famous at home."

The new 50% reduced fat beef franks as well as the updated packaging is currently available in grocers nationwide.
