TricorBraun WinePak creates certificates for wineries using Ardagh Group ECO Series bottles
The Ardagh Group (ardaghgroup.com) ECO Series wine bottles distributed by TricorBraun (tricorbraun.com) WinePak have become very popular with wineries intent to reduce their ecological footprint. The ECO Series bottles are up to 3 ounces lighter in weight than traditional bottles, are made with more than 55% recycled glass and are produced using clean-burning furnaces. As a result, they produce fewer carbon emissions into the atmosphere both during manufacture and transport.
“Choosing environmentally sound bottles aligns with our own ecological goals,” says Heidi Cook, TricorBraun WinePak business development manager. “As a result, we support the use of these beautiful yet environmentally sound bottles by issuing Eco Certificates to the wineries that bottle with them.”
The certificates are issued to TricorBraun WinePak customers that have purchased 80% or more of their bottles from the ECO Series line. Certificates are sent to qualifying wineries via E-mail, where they can either be printed for display or used in online and E-mail marketing to promote the wineries’ commitment to reducing environmental impact.
“We believe it is possible to reduce your carbon footprint and create beautiful bottles at the same time,” says Cook. “Our customers can order their bottles with embossing or any finish they want. We consult with each winery, find out what they want and custom order it through the Ardagh Group. We find that customers are eager to do something unique that is hard to copy while benefitting our environment at the same time.”
