Since 2001, The Pickle Juice Company has been committed to improving the performance of athletes by manufacturing the highest quality products designed to prevent or stop muscle cramps and replenish electrolytes. In 2015, the company introduced a 100% natural Pickle Juice Sport formula and optimized their packaging. The Pickle Juice portfolio includes three sizes of PET bottles – 16 ounces, 8 ounces, and 2.5 ounce shots – now all capped with Closure Systems International’s (CSI’s) (csiclosures.com) Extra-Lok 28mm closures with under-the-cap (UTC) printing.

The Pickle Juice Company decided to switch from 38mm snap-on caps to CSI’s screw-on Extra-Lok 28mm closures because of their secure seal, patented bead-behind-the-wing tamper evidence, and high-quality UTC messaging. When asked why CSI was selected, Steve Collette, Pickle Juice Vice President, said, “We wanted closures that would seal and not come off during shipping. The CSI cap’s performance, sealing and UTC printing along with great service made all the sense and made it worth switching from the snap-on caps.”

Director of sales & marketing, Filip Keuppens explained that The Pickle Juice Company appreciates strategic partners who help them market their products. He commented, “The CSI cap’s seal and tamper band protect consumers and the integrity of our brand. And, the messages printed underneath the caps make the packaging more fun and interesting.” The UTC printing includes motivational, informative, and clever messages, such as “Drink This, Be Awesome”, “Proven by Athletes”, and “What’s Your Dill”.

Pickle Juice has earned the respect of many college and pro athletes and has been endorsed by All Pro Dallas Cowboy, Jason Witten. The products are distributed primarily in the Southwest United States and are available on-line. Distribution continues to expand nationally, with international expansion on the horizon.
