Keane, who has led FPA since 2016, was recently announced as President of the International Sleep Products Association and Mattress Recycling Council.

During the presentation, Branyon walked attendees through Sonoco’s journey to ensuring that EnviroFlex Paper was curbside recyclable, and the sustainability advantages paper presents over other plastic-based materials. 

With this certification, Sonoco continues to build credibility as the market leader in high performing laminations containing recycled materials.

The FPA's 74th Annual Meeting is scheduled for March 20-22, 2024, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona. The event will include educational sessions, networking events, and a talk by Rob Cotton, PepsiCo's R&D director for sustainable packaging materials, on their path to sustainable packaging compliance.
