FPA’s reimagined conference—expanded to a day and a half from one day—will have a larger opening-night reception at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, tabletop exhibits with extended networking breaks, and a second-evening reception.

Alison Keane, President and CEO of the Flexible Packaging Association for eight years, is leaving her position on August 1. We want to express our appreciation for her work at FPA and her willingness to offer guidance on industry matters.

Keane, who has led FPA since 2016, was recently announced as President of the International Sleep Products Association and Mattress Recycling Council.

Keane has served eight years as president and CEO of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), where she has represented U.S. manufacturers of film, foil, paper, and other materials, as well as the converters that use those materials to make flexible packaging.

This program is designed to introduce summer interns (individuals joining FPA member companies as summer or part-time hires who are not currently full-time employees) to the flexible packaging industry and create opportunities to network among a community of interns from across fellow FPA member companies.

The awards were presented at a ceremony last month during the 2024 Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) annual meeting in Tucson, Arizona.

The transition of products previously packaged in rigid containers to flexible packaging was demonstrated in several of the competition entries.
